OPERATION:
~Indian Navy warship INS Kolkata captured 35 sea pirates and escorts them along with 17 crew members of MV Ruen to Indian west coast.
~Operation involved Indian Air Force C-17 Globemaster transporting Marine Commandos to Arabian Sea, 2600 km from Indian shores.
~Special boats of MARCOS were also airdropped to approach the hijacked vessel separately.
~Pirates surrendered after facing Indian Navy’s commando operation.
~The Indian Navy is bringing MV Ruen to the Indian coast for further proceedings.
