Major General Sanjay Soi, COAS’CC, CSM, Defence & Strategic Affairs Expert

He is Certified Independent Director and excellent speaker on the subjects of Leadership, team building and motivation. His areas of proven expertise are – Public Speaking, People Management, Strategic Planning and Delegation. He has more than 36 years in leadership in Armed Forces. He was commissioned in 12 KUMAON Regt. After putting-in 10 years of service, he moved to 2 NAGA where he served with Unit in intense Counter Insurgency operation in Jammu and Kashmir and took part in number of successful operations. He had a very successful tenure as Additional Director General in Rashtriya Rifles which is involved in counter insurgency operations in Kashmir.
A glorious career culminated as Commander of Junior Leaders Wing which trains commandos and Platoon commanders as he superannuated on 30 Sep 18. For his devotion to duty he is honoured with COAS Commendation Card. At present General contributes to Nation building using his rich experience and commitment. He has been regularly delivering talks to undergraduate and post graduate students in various universities on leadership and teambuilding. He is expert homeland security strategist and defence analyst and contributes regularly to various media forum and TV channels. He also served as CEO of Security Sector Skill Development Council (SSDC) and also as Honorary CEO of Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI). He is past Chairman of the International Council for Industrial Security, Safety and Management (ICISSM).
